Welcome to Oz Traveller, a blog about budget travel from Australia, travel tech and other miscellaneous stuff by a frustrated traveller. The blog is established as budget travel overseas from Australia is about to boom, with Tiger, AirAsiaX and soon Lion Air Australia competing with Jetstar in the LCC space. Concurrently, Australia is beginning to see the emergence of some cool online travel tools about which I’ll have plenty to say. Hopefully, given my obsessive interest in everything travel related, I can pick out some of the best and most interesting happenings in Australian travel (and I might even try to pass on a deal or two).
